I Recently Bought a Leaf Vacuum Mulcher and Did a Little Dance
As you know form my previous articles, I am a big fan of any kind of equipment that can do multiple jobs. For example, when I have a landscape tool that can do more than one thing, I am as giddy as a school boy. I recently bought a leaf vacuum mulcher and did a little dance when I saw what ti could do. Basically, I now have a tool to both clean up my yard and also create valuable much for the yard and garden. This is actually saving me a nice chunk of change because I do not have to drive to the store as much to buy mulch. Not to mention hauling ti home, and then spreading the mulch. With one tool I am saving a lot of time and money. I even bought it used online after thoroughly reading the reviews, and it is working great.
Funny Date with Valentines Day Flowers
My valentines day last year was hilarious all because of these silly looking Valentines day flowers that a “secret” admirer sent me while I was on an actual date with my boyfriend. We were having a delicious romantic dinner that night, complete with candlelight and a string quartet. It was all because the day before, I told my boyfriend that if he didn’t pull out all the stops, I’d break up with him. Things were going so well, when all of a sudden a clown comes out of nowhere and delivers the Valentines day flowers flowers in an unflattering way. I was so infuriated that the romantic moment was ruined by “my idiot boyfriend” and started mouthing off about how too much creativity is a bad thing. After my rant my boyfriend tells me that it wasn’t him and the manager approaches, apologizes and tells us that it was meant for a different client!

Getting the information you need to build something is usually not very straight-forward, and building a home food production system that is reliable is no exception. I have searched online for about 5 or 6 months for the specifics on how to do this, and have only been able to find enough information to design and build a fish holding tank so far. Sure, I found the plans for some wooden aquaponic growing beds, but they were very basic, and did not have the detail that I needed to create something like this from scratch. I found a set of aquaponics system plans on the aquaponics source website, and it does not seem like a stretch of my imagination to think that I could follow these to perfectly make a set of grow beds. I am excited about my new food growing method, and think that I will have all of the fresh fruit that I want in a few months.
